These two words that seem unrelated. "Financial”,  pertaining to money, and “architecture”, meaning the creation and design of a project.

   

    When we build a home, we don't start by picking out the faucets and light fixtures. Although they are important elements of the final goal, there are many decisions and structural integrities that must be done before the finishing touches of the design can be accomplished.

    Financial planning needs to be approached with the same mentality.

     

    Designing a home is a difficult task, designing a financial plan that can survive unsuspecting situations can be quite challenging as well. There are many financial disruptions that cause plans to fail, even if people don't fail to plan. 

 

    More and more people are being responsible about making financial decisions, but they are also still left out in the cold or unaware of the options that are available. This leaves many people not being able to reach the financial goals they had envisioned.

   Financial architecture is about building and/or reinforcing strong financial plans, and making sure the plan will last a lifetime.
